Founded in 1959, this center for scientific research and environmental education is a must see for every visitor to the islands. The infamous Lonesome George can be seen here along with hundreds of young tortoises bred for future release across the islands.

Day 2: Diving Tour
Meet at 6am at the dive shop to head out on a dive adventure to some of the best locations in the Galapagos. Return at 1:30pm and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening in the town, enjoying the sights and sounds of local wildlife attempting to snatch a treat at the fish market or simply admire the seals on the jetty.

Day 3 : Day Tour to Isabela Island.
At 7am, we venture two hours west to the largest island in the archipelago, Isabela Island. The morning will be spent with your guide around the town of Puerto Villamil visiting the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center where they are breeding 5 different species of tortoise from the different volcanoes on Isabela. The Flamingo lagoon and the nearby beaches covered in hundreds of marine iguanas are also on the list. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, and then you will be shown back to the port to embark on the Bay Tour. During the afternoon you will be taken to Las Tintoreras, the home of the white tipped reef sharks, and a small bay where the Galapagos Penguins like to frequent. It is here that you will have time for snorkelling, though you will have to be quick to get a glimpse of the penguins underwater.
