“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
PREREQUISITES: Minimum age 15 (12 for Junior Divers), One color picture, passport size, the student must be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization, with proof of 20 or more logged dives documenting experience in deep diving and underwater navigation.

Cancellation Policy
To ensure the safety, logistics, and quality of our diving experiences, we have established the following cancellation policy. Please read these terms carefully before booking your course.
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the high demand and limited availability of specialized diving spots in the Galapagos Islands.

| 30+ days before start date | Full refund (minus any non-refundable credit card/bank fees). |
| 15–29 days before start date | 50% of the total course fee. |
| 0–14 days before start date | No refund (100% of the total course fee). |
Important Conditions

No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the designated time and location for the start of your course will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and no refund will be issued.

Medical Issues: If you are unable to participate due to a medical condition, you must provide a valid medical certificate signed by a doctor. In this case, we may offer a partial refund or allow you to reschedule based on availability, at our discretion.

Changes to Itinerary (Force Majeure): Galapagos diving operations are subject to conditions beyond our control, including weather, sea conditions, or official instructions from the Galapagos National Park authorities.
- If a dive is cancelled by the operator for safety reasons, we will prioritize rescheduling.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a pro-rated refund for the specific missed service will be issued.

Certification Requirements: It is the student’s responsibility to meet the medical and swimming requirements prior to the course. If a student is disqualified by an instructor during the course due to safety concerns or failure to meet performance requirements, no refund will be provided.
How to Request a Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to [info@galapagostravellers.com]. The date the email is received will be used to calculate the applicable cancellation fees.
Note: We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes "cancel for any reason" coverage and coverage for adventure sports/scuba diving.
